If I am following a diet can I still have cheat meals?
Yes, unless you are trying to loose weight rapidly (cutting weight for sport). I personally recommend the 80/20 rule. This means that you eat clean 80% of the time and you eat “cheat meals” 20% of the time, if you are eating 5 meals a day (35/week), you should be eating 28 meals from a planned schedule and 7 meals to enjoy the other foods you love.
NOTE: The word cheat MEAL, there is often a misconception that a cheat meal means that you can binge eat all day long. Be honest with yourself or this rule will not work, calories don’t lie.
